DCI Engineering Tools

DCI Systems offer a variety of engineering tools to efficiently configure your control and operations configurations to match specific project and application requirements. As the DCI Systems progressed through various stages of enhancement, three distinct engineering tools have been offered.

With DCI-4000 and DCI-5000, on board controller configuration tools for Controlware were provided with the DCU-1000 and DCU-2000. These were text based fill-in-the-blanks style configuration tools that could also be documented via a graphical AutoDoc tool. With DCI System Six, an expanded on board controller configuration tool for Controlware II was provided with the DCU3200. This was a text based fill-in-the-blanks style configuration tool.

In 1996, CTK3200 was introduced for DCI System Six. It brought increased functionality to graphically configure and document these same Controlware II control strategies.

In 1997, CTK3200 evolved to Composer CTK. The Composer CTK application took the place of its predecessor and introduced true server/client relationship. This brought added support for multi-user project configuration and on-line mirroring of changes with off-line configuration files.
